Season three trades forward motion for vibes and dares you to be mad about it. Yes, the plot mostly idles in neutral; no, I don't fully care, because this is still the most electric ensemble on television and the kitchen still sounds like an anxiety attack scored by a jazz drummer. Episode six is a standalone short film that wandered into a TV show and outclassed it. Pacing: questionable. Faces, food, feelings: immaculate.
